Muehlehalde “Featuring Worldhits”

The home for the blind Mühlehalde in Zürich is the home for old, blind persons. The rather old residents of the home were acting as the stars of the campaign. In two touching TV-spots, they enthusiastically sang the world hits of two blind world stars. In the first spot, Stevie Wonder's 'I just called to say I love you' and in the second spot, Andrea Bocelli's 'Con te partiro'. Of course their version did not sound as professional as the original. But it came straight from the heart. Conclusion: Not everyone who's blind can earn millions singing. Thank you for your donation. Home for the Blind Zürich. PO-Account 80-21096-3.

Women’s Aid Organisation “Carbon”

Design a low-cost mailer which innovatively combined two objects - the carbon and envelope - in an unexpected way. The envelope poses an unusual request before opening it: write down the most hurtful thing you've ever said to someone, in the space provided. You'll then realise why when you find that your hurtful words have scarred a woman's image inside. A message from Women's Aid Organisation (WAO) follows, seeking support to sign a petition against violence.

Melange accessoires "Nightclub Stamp"

The target group was young fashion-interested Berliners. So let's meet them, where young Berliners show off their fashion-interest: in the clubs. Not with boring promotion teams but with the media that a club offers. That way the stamp that the clubs usually give on your wrist as an entrance ticket became a very special one: a bracelet with the adress of Melange, the Berlin store for fine accessoires and jewellery.

Fans started marketing the promotion themselves, making their own banners and wearing Boony moustaches.

Microsoft “Gotcha!”

The most common way people get pirated software is by asking friends and colleagues for it. So they sent out a brown paper envelope (each of the 3,000 mailers was hand-written to make it look as if it's come from a friend). On opening it, the receiver found a CD with a hand-written post-it note. Within seconds of loading the CD his PC crashes. Moments later, a message appears to tell him how if this was pirated software, it could actually make that happen. They were offered a discount on Windows Genuine Software if they purchased before a particular date.

Their creative approach engaged their childhood memories, allowing them to feel like they are dolls that can be dressed in various outfits.
