Loud Against Nazis "Egg cup"

Increasing right-wing radicalism is a problem in everyday German life. The campaign Loud Against Nazis trys to remind people of the situation whereever possible. The task was to activate people to do something against neo-Nazism: to have a look at the website of the Loud Against Nazis and to engage themselves in the movement. The objective is to get radical right-wing tendencies out of sick minds. A good deed at breakfast time: Eggcups against right-wing radicalism, potential partners, sponsors and supporters of the Loud Against Nazis movement are mailed a re-designed eggcup, together with the call to spread the words as Loud as possible, and recruit new supporters. A small daily reminder, to get propaganda out of neo-Nazi heads. Already thousands of crushed eggs. With many more to come.

    Die Tageszeuitung "Airtime hi-jacking"

More and more cameras observe pedestrians in public. Supposed to use only for security reasons, the material could be all-purpose. Bringing out the critical position on public monitoring of the newspaper. Giving information: walkers will be recorded in many unexpected places. An invasion of personal privacy. THE CONSIDERATION. How to reach this goal with a small media budget? How to get the attention of the target group and how to awaken a critical public opinion? Media became an important part of the creative idea. To specify: the media solution constituted the idea. Hi-jacking airtime on tv to spread the sustainable message and to break in on the target group. THE IMPLEMENTATION. How is this marketable? The way is to hi-jack earth.tv-earth.tv features famous places and cities across five continents with a daily view of 60 broadcast cameras on more than 40 tv-channels. But how to hi-jack earth.tv? Look via google maps for the locations of the cameras. Choose one or more. Find this camera. A street promotion team with a banner arranged in front of it. Staying there for a period, being recorded and later broadcasted on tv. Just as well on the internet! More than 30 million contacts in Germany on tv and a multiply of contacts on the internet with a media budget of 0,- Euro! Selective tv channels in more than 200 countries spread the message for free and hit more than 2 billion viewers. THE ADDENDUM. Big brother is watching. Some of the street promotion teams were arrested-and set freet after a short time.

    Volkswagen "Prickle mailing"

Development of a dialog marketing measure wich would arouse curiosity about the Golf R 32, placing the enormous acceleration and engine power of the Golf R 32 in an attention-grabbing manner and thereby generating as many test drive sign-ups as possible. It's not possible to describe a Golf R 32. You have to experience it. That is why they developed a mailing wich offers a foretaste of what it is like to sit in a Golf R 32. The sensory enhancer in the mailing causes exactly the same goose bumps felt when accelerate a Golf R 32 from 0 to 100 km/h in 6,2 seconds. Adobe "Quarkbuster!"

To show German QuarkXPress users how much fresher Adobe InDesign is than their current software - and boost trial download rates! In German "Quark" is also the name for "curd cheese", a popular dairy product sold in every German supermarket. Playing on this double meaning, they created a "mouldy Quark" mailing - sending targets a tub of Quark that was well past its expiry date. Under a layer of "mould", an appetizing recipe book showcased Adobe InDesign's superior freshness and offered recipients a free trial download. The number of trial downloads jumped by a whopping 16,6%.

    One Watches.

One is a local brand that asked them to develop a new way of presenting their catalogue to retailers. Getting attention was the objective in a tremendously competitive and sales force demanding market. They created a mailing that beside showing watches, allowed recipients to try them. The concept was: "One. For every moment.". The client is delighted about the results. One anticipated competition with this faster and cheaper distibution approach, money and time were saved for salesman and the cataloque ended up in stores where consumers could now try the entire collection without embarrassment. Logically, demand and sales increased.

    Clearasil "The cover pimple!"

Young people are getting more and more skeptical when it comes to classical advertising. Unfortunately, especially in this target group Clearasil faces a decrease in likeability. With the help of their specially created pimple sticker, they turn the front page of a hip youth magazine into a Clearasil ad. Possibly the smallest tag-on ad ever done. The branding and the web address can only be seen on the reverse side of the sticker to create the teaser reveal effect. Added value: Kids get a little sticker as a gimmick that they can put on their own pictures to create even more buzz. The traffic on the Clearasil website increased significantly. Because of strong demand and succes they will produce little bags with extra pimple stickers. They are planned to be used as promotional giveaways or on product promotions.

They used this insight to highlight the plight of the thousands who have lost their home. Hundreds of keys were scattered all over Dublin City. They were left in bus shelters, on park benches and on busy streets for well meaning passers by, to pick up. The keyring was printed on both sides. It said: "Thousands of people in Ireland are missing their keys." one one side and "Help us help the homeless. Focus Ireland." on the other.
