UN Refugee "Ransacked"

Many people in "first world" countries don't know what it means to be a refugee. To help them understand, the UN Refugee Agency distributed mock eviction notices to residents in upscale neighborhoods.

Bodycopy: Please be advised your home will be ransacked, doused in gasoline and torched to the ground as of 9pm tonight.
Any resistance will be met with torture and/or lethal force. But don’t feel bad. You’re not the only one. You see, this has already happened to millions of people. The only reason you didn’t notice is because none of them are living in your neighborhood. So don’t be alarmed, this isn’t a real eviction notice but at least now you have some sense of what it feels to be a refugee. These are people just like you that are forced to flee their homes in fear of persecution or death for no other reason than their personal beliefs. Right now, there are more than 20 million refugees worldwide struggling for survival. That’s why the United Nations Refugee Agency is asking for your support. Your donation will go directly towards providing basic needs like shelter, fresh water and health care. Please give by going to www.unhcr.ca
